ProSource, the $4.5 billion tech specialty buying group, will gather the troops next week for its annual five-day Spring Meeting, to be held this year at the Marriott Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa in Dana Point, Calif.
The first part of the week will be devoted to retail-related topics and discussions for the group’s largest PRO-level dealers, including an industry update from guest speaker Stephen Baker, industry analysis VP for The NPD Group.
The latter half of the week will focus on residential and commercial integration for ProSource’s Power CI dealers, highlighted by workshops on digital marketing for custom integrators presented by One Firefly CEO Ron Callis, and an OLED optimization workshop presented by Robert Zohn, principal of Value Electronics.
All members will also huddle with ProSource's vendor partners in in-depth, one-on-one meetings.
In addition, the group’s newest partner, CI Edge, a leading buying organization for commercial integrators, will host a half-day meeting under the theme “Excellence in the Commercial Integration Market – Where Does My Company Fit and Am I Measuring Up?”
Other highlights will include the group’s annual state of the union address; business roundtable meetings; audio demo suites; vendor awards; a wine and craft-beer tasting; and a private concert and luau.
Over 300 dealers and manufacturers are expected for ProSource’s Spring Meeting, including new vendor partners Autonomic Controls, HiFi Man, Interlogix, Master and Dynamic, Q Motion, Soundcast, and Vantage.
