Newegg Launching Business PC Line

City of Industry, Calif. – Leading CE-specialty e-tailer Newegg.com has introduced a private-label line of desktop PCs for its Newegg Business subsidiary.

The new ABS N series is aimed at small to medium businesses (SMB), small and home offices (SOHO) and the education channel, and is described by Newegg as a high-quality offering that rivals comparable major-brand models but beats them on price. The five-PC series features Intel i5 quad-core processors; 4GB or 8GB of memory;  120GB or 250GB Samsung SSDs, including one model with an extra 1TB HDD; USB 3.0 ports; three different monitor connections; and a quiet power supply, and runs on Windows Pro, upgradeable to Windows 10. The units ship with a Logitech keyboard and ambidextrous mouse, and are priced from $649 to $739 retail.

Founded in 2010, Newegg Business is a wholly owned subsidiary of Newegg North America and owns and operates NeweggBusiness.com. In announcing the new PC line, VP Merle McIntosh described the SMB and education channels as “underserved markets” online. “Our products allow them to operate more efficiently,” he said.
