New Age Electronics, the national CE, gaming and services distributor, has won a 2016 Operational Excellence Award from HSN.

The annual honor recognizes the broadcast retailer’s “most remarkable partner contributions of the year,” HSN said.

New Age, a five-time winner, was selected from a pool of 1,200 candidates and 200 finalists across all categories for its best-in-class service in delivering on-time and accurate shipments to shoppers.

“New Age Electronics continues to do an outstanding job supporting HSN with top-notch service to our customers, and we are very proud to recognize them with our 2016 Operational Excellence Award,” said Sandy Conrad, HSN’s electronics senior VP. “They are a strategic partner on all fronts — from their effort and dedication to our business to their continued support of our HSN Cares initiative, which is dedicated to empowering women and helping families in times of need.”

As part of its partnership, New Age also manages drop-ship orders and returns directly for HSN and its customers from its nationwide warehouse network, maintaining required service-level agreements for all accounts.

“We are honored to be recognized at the HSN Annual Awards Gala for the fifth year — an accomplishment that would not be possible without the incredible support of our vendors, who work alongside the New Age team to deliver the best results possible for HSN and their customers,” said New Age president Fred Towns.

The awards event was held last week in St. Petersburg, Fla., where New Age supported HSN’s commitment to giving back through activities that benefit the Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay. That, said Towns, “allows our team and the other honorees to work together with HSN to help make a difference in the community.”
