The New England Appliances and Electronics Group (NEAEG), a chapter of the NECO Alliance buying cooperative, has partnered with Promoboxx to assist its member dealers in their digital marketing efforts.
Under the partnership, Promoboxx’s platform will allow NEAEG’s appliance dealers to populate their email and social media channels with corporate marketing content from Electrolux/Frigidaire, GE Appliances, Haier brand, Fisher & Paykel and Speed Queen.
The service is sponsored by the brands and is offered to dealers at no charge.
“Having previously been a Promoboxx customer during my time at Electrolux, I was familiar with how the platform makes it super easy for appliance dealers to publish quality brand content across their digital channels,” said Shelley Kanther, NEAEG’s marketing and digital strategy consultant.
Added Promoboxx co-founder and CEO Ben Carcio, “We are excited to become an official partner of the New England Group as we share a common interest in doing what’s best for the local retailer. Today’s appliance dealers are time-strapped and are struggling with how to do it all — run a business and find the time to market their store properly. Our goal …is to make digital marketing simple, easy, and effective for the tens of thousands of retailers we serve.”
NEAEG, based in Franklin, Mass., is a 53-year-old cooperative buying and marketing organization comprised of 117 independent appliance dealers operating 161 storefronts throughout New England and Upstate New York, and supplied by the group’s own 300,000-square-foot warehouse.
Its umbrella group, NECO (The Northeast Company), is one of the country’s largest appliance buying co-ops. Its other regional chapters include Appliance Dealers Cooperative (ADC), InterCounty Appliance Corp. and Dynamic Marketing Inc. (DMI).
