Dynamic Marketing Inc. (DMI), the New Jersey-based buying cooperative and NECO Alliance chapter, has added a new tool to its marketing toolbox.
The 60-plus-year-old group for independent dealers is now offering complimentary social media and digital marketing assistance to help raise member awareness, sales and customer loyalty.
The new feature builds on DMI’s two-year-old dealer web portal, which allows members to manage orders, invoices, ship manifests, vendor credit requests and returns, and to generate a wide range of reports to help them run their businesses more efficiently.
“We are more than a buying group for appliance and electronic retailers, we are a business partner,” noted operations and IT director Alan Joskowicz.
Indeed, the group houses its own inventory within a 400,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution center at its Hamilton Township headquarters, which allows its members to receive timely shipments of competitively-priced products.
The dealer cooperative was founded in 1957 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and serves members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
