The New England Appliance Group (NEAEG), a co-op for independent major appliance retailers and a chapter of the NECO Alliance buying group, held its annual Product & Training Show last month at the Rhode Island Convention Center (RICC) in Providence, R.I.
The two-day event included sales and marketing training sessions, demos from manufacturers, and ample networking opportunities for the 500 NEAEG members in attendance. More than 50 vendors and 80 brands were represented, according to the group.
This was the first time the event had been held at the venue. Founded in 1963, the group represents 107 indie dealers encompassing 155 storefronts in New England and New York.
