Winston-Salem, N.C. — Nationwide Marketing Group has relaunched its website.
The new design mirrors the buying group’s intranet site, and features a cleaner layout, refined navigation, refreshed copy, new graphics, online access to its in-house Independent Thinking magazine, and a strong social-media component.
“As we continually encourage our independent retail members to be visible online and maintain a strong presence, we saw an opportunity to refresh our Nationwide brand as well,” said Alex Knock, communications director for the $15 billion buying and merchandising organization for independent appliance, CE and furniture dealers.
Added member services senior VP Frank Sandtner, “Our primary goal of the new site is to facilitate giving new website visitors well-organized and easy-to-navigate information about Nationwide. The visitors can get a sense of the depth of our member services and self-select if they want to take the conversation further, which really represents the power of inbound marketing.”
Mirroring the revamp, regional and specialty divisions including Canada’s Cantrex Nationwide, Nationwide RentDirect and Specialty Electronics Nationwide (SEN) similarly updated their websites in the style of the parent group.
