Micro Center Computers & Electronics has renewed its extended-service agreement with Service Net.
The new contract extends the original four-year agreement under which Service Net provided underwriting, marketing and administration of extended-service plans on IT and CE products for the 22-store chain.
In a statement, Micro Center service director Eric Schneider said the extended-service provider’s “flexibility and willingness to work with Micro Center on out-of-the-box service solutions and service processes” has lead to “tremendous growth” in the retailer’s extended warranty business.
Service Net provides warranty-management administration, extended-service programs, customer-service support, service-network management, claims-processing services and service-contract underwriting for a range of manufacturers, retailers, buying groups and distributors in the CE and IT industries, including CDW, Dell, Newegg, Philips, Sony and Toshiba.
