Mega Group Launches Marketing Roadshow

Germantown, Tenn. — Mega Group USA will hit the road next month with a traveling ad workshop for members.

The program, dubbed Mega U, will steep the buying group’s independent furniture, appliance and CE dealers in the changing advertising landscape, and help them maximize their marketing investments by blending traditional and digital media.

“With so many more media choices available today to our members, we recognize how the task of planning and executing an effective advertising campaign has grown to be more challenging,” said Mega marketing executive VP Jim Sendrak.

The road show is an extension of the group’s new Mega Marketing advertising division, and provides a deeper dive into the subject than can be presented during the group’s biannual conventions, he said.

The workshops will feature Mega partners from the worlds of traditional media, website design and administration, and digital and social-media marketing, who along with Mega managers will provide the know-how to build a cohesive and customized marketing plan.

The Mega U roadshow kicks off the week of Nov. 10 in Birmingham, Ala., followed by stops in Nashville, Tenn., and Louisville, Ky.

The program will expand and continue into other markets during the first quarter of 2015, Sendrak said.
