Memphis, Tenn. – Mega Group USA, the buying group for independent appliance, home furnishings and CE dealers, has partnered with Web4Retail to launch a comprehensive new marketing program for members.
The service, dubbed Mega Marketing, features a full suite of digital and traditional advertising services to help retailers expand their businesses in both the online and offline markets. Services include digital advertising, social media, email marketing, TV and radio production, media buying, public relations and branding, the partners said.
“With Internet advertising budgets surpassing TV, print and radio, our members have communicated a need for more effective digital advertising, including pay per click, mobile and display ads,” explained Mega Group president Rick Bellows.
Added Denise Keniston, president of Web4Retail: “Dealers want to adapt to the changing retail landscape by embracing new marketing and advertising strategies. This includes blending traditional and digital advertising; for example, running both a newspaper circular and an online pay per click campaign in tandem to deliver a creative and unified message.”
The program will be introduced this month at Mega’s national fall convention, to be held Aug. 22-25 at the Music City Center & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. It joins the group’s WebFronts website program and new Digital Studios in-store display program to provide “a broad range of exclusive member services to help our retailers excel in a highly competitive market,” Bellows said.
Mega, based here, has over 1,700 furniture, electronics, appliance and bedding dealers representing 2,500 storefronts throughout the U.S. Other provided services include health and business insurance, group vendor programs, consulting, store merchandising, and information technology support aimed at driving floor traffic, improving sales and profits and enhancing operating efficiencies.
Groton, Mass.-based Web4Retail is a full-service marketing and advertising agency serving specialty dealers in the home furnishings, bedding, majap and CE sectors.
