Memphis, Tenn. — Mega Group USA will host its fall convention in Nashville, Tenn., Aug. 22-25.
The buying group said it plans to address the millennial generation in retail, with seminars, panels and workshops on marketing and selling to the demographic. It will also demonstrate new developments to the Mega Digital Studio in-store digital display program, including new digital assets from vendors, and new group-specific content for services like financing and product protection.
“With Digital Studio, retailers can leverage their sales team and address ‘showrooming’ with high-quality content to engage customers directly in their store with digital sign or tablet based options,” said Mega.
Other topics addressed at the convention include product and business education, advertising, marketing, sales and service.
“Mattress University” will feature three sessions that cover sales training, digital marketing, retail operations and best practices as they relate specifically to the mattress business.
“Nashville is by far our most popular location for our members. This year it will be even more exciting because we will be in the brand-new Music City Center — a 2 million-square-foot state-of-the-art convention center. And along side of it is an also brand new Omni Center deluxe hotel, where our members will enjoy first-class accommodations. All of this is nearby Nashville’s exciting entertainment district where great food, fun and music is all within walking distance,” said Rick Bellows, president of MEGA Group USA.
Buy-ins and pricing specials will be available for members in attendance.
