LG To Sponsor Millennial Meet At Nationwide Show

The younger tech-set will be raising a glass to LG Electronics next month when the Nationwide Marketing Group’s PrimeTime show rolls into Orlando.

That’s because, among other reasons, the manufacturer will be sponsoring the buying group’s NeXt Gen networking event, a staple of the group’s biannual convention and trade show. The NeXt Gen network was launched three years ago to embrace upcoming industry leaders within the independent retailer and vendor communities in response to the challenge of succession planning. The networking event brings them together to exchange ideas and best practices in a fun and relaxed environment, Nationwide explained.

“The group’s heightened focus on assisting members in the preparation and execution of succession planning has caused continued growth amongst the roster of attendees, making the event more and more successful each show,” said Nationwide spokesperson Alex Knock. “What started as 50-plus attendees exceeded 200-plus people at the August event in Las Vegas.”

Next month’s NeXt Gen gathering will be held at 8:30 p.m. on March 13 at Club 39, located in the Pointe Orlando plaza. PrimeTime itself will be held at the adjoining Orange County Convention Center March 13-16 under the theme “re:imagine” retail.
