SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. –
Ingram Micro Consumer Electronics (IMCE) hosted its annual charity golf tournament and IMCE Vendor Expo last month.
The golf tournament was held April 8th and the IMCE Vendor Expo was held on April 9. This year’s annual event raised proceeds and product donations for United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona and Rescue a Golden of Arizona.
Tim Coakley, marketing and vendor management VP stated, “We’re very fortunate to be able to partner with our vendor community and give to local charities. We are grateful to all who participated.”
IMCE’s annual charity golf tournament for manufacturers and select customers was held at the Troon North Golf Course, here, and was followed by a cocktail reception at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort and a presentation of golf awards.
The charity event was sponsored by IMCE’s strategic vendors and manufacturer representatives, including Samsung, Omnimount, MadCatz, Sanus, Peerless, SOUL, Sony, Onkyo and Scosche.
The following day the IMCE Vendor Expo featured product introductions and training from multiple manufacturers. The tabletop tradeshow brought together strategic vendors and many local and regional customers to facilitate product education through hands-on demonstrations and informative discussions with Ingram Micro and IMCE manufacturers.
New to this show were IMCE exclusive vendors such as OnStar, demonstrating their new retail mirror, and SOUL headphones by Ludacris. Returning CE vendors include Samsung, Sony, Philips, Omnimount, MadCatz, Microsoft, NXG Technology, Avanti, Hamilton Beach and many more. Ingram Micro vendors include V7, QSee, Peerless, CP Tech, Kensington, Buslink and others.
These vendors represented many product segments such as small appliances, gaming, 12-volt, photo/ video, home theater, home automation, computer, personal and portable, and mobility, the distributor said.
