Howard’s TV Turns New Leaf

Howard’s TV & Appliance, Southern California’s 12-store big-box chain, has signed a multiyear deal with New Leaf Service Contracts.

Under the agreement, New Leaf will provide extended-service plans for TVs, white-goods and other merchandise for sale to Howard’s customers.

“We did our due diligence to make sure we were moving to a company that would give our customers everything they needed,” said Howard’s merchandising VP Grant Hancock.

Added president/CEO John Wilkerson, “We felt New Leaf would be the best company to go with in order to give our customers the care they need and deserve when they purchase a service plan.”

New Leaf CEO Sean Hicks said both companies consider customer service a “top priority,” and that the new partnership “will enhance that for all parties involved.”

Based in Irving, Texas, New Leaf partners with A-rated insurance carriers to administer and market service contracts throughout the U.S. on a wide range of products including CE, fitness equipment, musical instruments, optics, furniture, and home and garden equipment.
