Griffin Opens Five Retail Stores In U.S.

Nashville, Tenn. – Griffin Technology has opened five “micro stores” in the U.S. since November, after testing the concept in London during the Summer Olympics.

Griffin said the stores, located in malls in San Jose, Calif, Seattle, San Francisco, Nashville and Annapolis, Md., are “an effort to give consumers a unique opportunity to interact with and experience Griffin products in a way they are unable to anywhere else.”

“Griffin has been leading the way in developing innovative and ground-breaking accessories for the past 20 years,” said Mark Rowan, Griffin’s president. “Opening these micro stores is the next step for us in sharing our vision and products with consumers at first hand.”

Each store displays the extent of Griffin’s key products in interactive, hands-on displays, including the company’s extensive collection of iOS cases, in-car accessories, and remote-controlled helicopters and vehicles.

A child-height demo station promotes Griffin’s popular Crayola-branded products and a Charge Bar is open in each store for customers to charge mobile devices and for surf the Internet.

The Griffin micro stores are located at the Westfield Annapolis, the Westfield San Francisco Centre, the Westfield Southcenter in Seattle; the Westfield Valley Fair in San Jose,; and CBL Properties Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville, where Griffin is headquartered.

The Cool Springs location features a 32-foot-tall Griffin-branded tower visible from both the first and second floors.
