Shrugging off the threat of showers, the Nationwide Marketing Group held a rousing kickoff to its four-day PrimeTime convention in Orlando yesterday.
On the eve of its CE, majap and home-furnishings buy fair, the $15 billion merchandising confederation for independent dealers held an open-air gathering at Pointe Orlando, where members sampled multiple restaurants and libations, while a millennials-only NeXtGen networking party ran nearby.
The show runs through Wednesday at the Orlando County Convention Center. Check TWICE.com for updates.
Members vie for deep discounts at the group’s “Millions in Minutes” furniture auction.

Nationwide’s Alex Knock, left, and LG Electronics’ Ken Welty greet guests at the group’s NeXtGen 20- and 30-something soiree.
