San Jose, Calif. — eBay is bringing its one-hour delivery service to additional markets.

Its ebay Now service, which uses couriers to deliver purchases from local retailers, is extending to Chicago, Dallas and additional parts of New York and San Francisco.

Participating CE retailers include Best Buy, Office Depot, RadioShack, Target, Toys“R”Us and Walgreens. The service costs $5 and the minimum purchase is $25. Products are limited to the retailers’ eBay Now assortment and what can fit inside a car; TV screen sizes, for example, are capped at 42 inches. Deliveries are generally made an hour after placing the order via mobile app or eBay.com/Now.

The service was piloted last year in San Francisco and later extended to Manhattan and San Jose. In this latest expansion, eBay is bringing the service to sections of Brooklyn and Queens and additional Bay Area towns in addition to Dallas and Chicago.
