DBL Holds Expo, Publishes Catalog

DBL Distributing hosted its bi-annual Vendor Expo attracting 70 exhibitors and more than 100 retail customers here, last month.

DBL’s vendor exposition is designed to facilitate interaction between brand name consumer electronic manufacturers, DBL sales account managers and DBL customers, with a focus on products and brands in DBL’s most recent catalog, the company said.

Monster Power, Sherwood, Sansui, Memorex, Case Logic, Go Video, KOSS, DLO, Panasonic, JVC, Olympus, Ortofon, SanDisk, XM Satellite Radio, and JBL were a few of the participating manufacturers that provided onsite product experts and new product demonstrations at the expo.

“It is always satisfying to interact with our manufacturing partners and customers in a combined environment where we can present the latest in new product lines featured in DBL’s Summer/Fall Catalog. This particular event provided the perfect combination of hands-on product demonstrations and face to face interaction between sales representatives and customers,” stated Bruce Kuperman, senior VP of sales.

In addition to the excitement surrounding the abundance of new products from name brand manufacturers, the event also featured door prizes including products donated by Monster Power, OmniMount, Case Logic, Lorex, Ortofon, Blue Ant, TDK, Maxell, Griffin, Nextar, Nexus, Vantage Point, Sanus and Olympus.

DBL’s next vendor exposition will coincide with the release of the Fall/Winter 2007 Catalog tentatively scheduled for release in early October.

DBL’s new Summer/Fall 2007 Catalog for Consumer Electronic Dealers, Retailers and Online Merchants is the largest DBL catalog published to date with more than 1,100 pages, 3,000 new products, over 1,900 new permanent price drops and 31 brand-name manufacturers.

In addition to its catalog that is published three times each year, the company publishes monthly sale flyers and vendor flyers dedicated to introducing new products, new low prices and closeout items. Customers also receive daily promotions through the DBL Dispatch – the company’s e-marketing newsletter that promotes hot deals and special offers that link directly to

“Ninety-thousand catalogs were mailed to our customer base and almost every consumer electronics retailer nationwide,” said David Lorsch, DBL’s president/CEO.
