Burlington, Mass. – Catalyst AV, the 11-member distribution network that serves over 15,000 integrators in the U.S, announced that it has entered into an agreement to distribute APC by Schneider Electric’s full suite of surge protectors, power conditioners and battery backup solutions.

“With multiple power and protection solutions for home A/V, commercial and industrial businesses, APC by Schneider Electric has been a perfect fit for us,” said Jason Potter, general manager of Easy Access Distribution, the New England chapter of the Catalyst AV network.

“APC by Schneider Electric has always been the leader in networked power conditioners and battery backups that can be managed remotely from offsite locations; this capability will help reduce the amount of costly service calls.  Their new product introductions are exciting and profitable for our customers,” Potter said.

“As the convergence of A/V and IT equipment continues, the home network becomes a critical element in assuring the availability, reliability and success of AV/IT installations,” said Shannon Sbar, ‎channels VP, North America, APC by Schneider Electric.

“By working with Catalyst AV, APC by Schneider Electric is able to introduce our home and business networking protection solutions to a vast and established network of 15,000 custom-integration specialists. Together we are able to further our commitment to providing customers with the end to end solutions they need,” he added.

Founded in 2012, Catalyst AV is a network of 11-independent consumer electronics distributors serving the residential and professional A/V channels in the U.S.  Catalyst AV grants manufacturers a consistent and cohesive nationwide distribution model to more than 15,000 professional integration specialists.
