Capitol, the national CE distributor for custom integrators, is stepping up its social media outreach with a series of bimonthly giveaways.
The company is kicking off the program next week by offering one lucky social media follower a Quadrone AW-QDR-IST drone, valued at $150.
Contestants must follow Capitol on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, where an entry link will be posted.
“Our social-media pages have given us an opportunity to maintain a steady flow of information,” said president/chief financial officer Curt Hayes. “But we’re now moving to a more aggressive approach that will make LinkedIn and other sites more critical for keeping our customers up to speed with industry trends and how best to build business in a rapidly evolving market.”
The initiative follows last year’s popular “Minute with Mike” video series on YouTube, in which outspoken Capitol tech specialist Mike Marko discusses new products and trends.
The drone giveaway will run through May 27, to be followed by a subsequent giveaway to be announced at that time.
