Sony Partners With ConsorcioTec Buying Group

Enhances member’s ability to provide advanced technology options to clients

ConsorcioTec, the purchasing consortium for Latin American and Caribbean integrators, and Sony Professional Solutions Latin America Division (PSLA), a leading provider of advanced technology equipment for broadcasters and other professional users, signed an agreement for the latter to join the loyalty ecosystem for the purchase of technology in the region.

“As manufacturers, we always look for long-term relationships, and this type of group offers a much more direct communication to work hand in hand with the integrator, which ends up generating added value for both,” said Claudius Bezerra, Sony Product Marketing Manager in a statement.

A partner at every level

The arrival of Sony to the buying group brings more robustness and broadens the portfolio of solutions available to the different member integrators. Partnering with Sony brings a wide range of products for broadcast, audio and video; appliances not only for television units, but for the corporate, education and healthcare sector.

“At all times, we are looking to bring new technologies to the market to support the work of the integrator,” added Claudius. “We already have solutions that even today are incorporating artificial intelligence, but with a value that is quite accessible.”
