'Tis the season for pre-holiday retail promotions to whet consumer appetites.

And helping to stoke the seasonal fires is our old friend BFAds.net, which is back for another year of retail sales ad reveals.

With Halloween still a full week away, the consumer shopping site has provided a look-see at a host of big-box sales circulars and holiday plans that go into effect this week through Thanksgiving.

While no Black Friday pricing was disclosed just yet, BFAds — a sister site to Ebates and a unit of Rakuten — is offering up a taste of things to come. Here’s the rundown, as shared by spokesperson Brent Shelton:

Target: The No. 2 discount chain will be introducing Weekend Deals starting Nov. 11 via the Target app. The sales will run on Saturdays and Sundays and will feature everyday essentials as well as holiday must-haves. “We can only hope that these deals won’t replace the usual 10 Days of Deals we’ve enjoyed the last few years,” Shelton said.

Costco:  The No. 1 wholesale club is offering as much as $1,000 off furniture sets, $300 off laptops and $300 off new Samsung QLED curved TVs in its 18-page pre-Black Friday coupon book.

Sam’s Club: Walmart’s sister chain has produced a 40-page instant savings coupon book divided evenly between consumer goods and food. Among the former: $800 off a four-piece, stainless steel kitchen suite from LG, and $200 off a selection of HP Envy laptop and desktop computers. The sales are staggered and culminate in Black Friday, which for Sam’s begins online at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 23, and in stores Friday, Nov. 24, at 7 a.m.

Toys“R”Us: Not letting a little thing like bankruptcy slow it down, the last national toy chain standing has produced a 120-page toy book and scheduled a full series of in-store events, including a full day of augmented reality play (Oct. 26) and Parents’ Night (Nov. 12 and Nov. 30), promising toy experts, games, sweepstakes and goodies.
