Black Friday Deals: Deja Vu All Over Again


If those Black Friday doorbusters seem more than a little familiar, chances are they are. According to free credit report and savings alert site WalletHub, 11 percent of all Black Friday deals also appeared in past years.

The biggest offenders: Sears, with 28 percent of deals recycled; Office Depot/OfficeMax, at 20.5 percent; and Staples, with 18.2 percent of its offers turning out to be repeat performers.

The retailer with the least number of déjà vu deals: Sam’s Club, at just 4.7 percent of its Black Friday ad.
