MINNEAPOLIS — Best Buy shoppers will be able to receive cash back for their purchases via the Ibotta app this holiday season. Consumers who spent $100 or more at Best Buy or BestBuy.com on Thanksgiving or Black Friday received $5 in an Ibotta account; they will then be able to earn an additional $10 (with another $10 Best Buy purchase) through the weekend of Dec. 6.
The free app can be used with iOS and Android devices. Ibotta said it has 5 million users who use the app on average 25 out of every 30 days.
