Chester Springs, Pa. – Azione Unlimited (AU), the education and buying group for custom retailers and integrators, has added five new dealers to the fold, raising its retail ranks to 120.
The new members include Acoustic Vision, Missoula, Mont.; Interior Technologies, El Segundo, Calif.; The Appropriate Connections, Gilroy, Calif.; The Audiohouse, Vero Beach, Fla.; and AVC Technologies, Tampa, Fla.
Group president/founder Richard Glikes said the goal is to create a “captive market” of 250 dealer members, which would allow some vendors to satisfy their sales requirements through Azione distribution alone.
“Imagine that our vendors could come to us with products and not need additional distribution,” Glikes said. “We have a particular niche and we attract a certain type of dealer.”
Ninety-three percent of member dealers are integrators, he noted, and vendors have enjoyed 24-percent growth with the group year-over-year on average.
