AVB/BrandSource members will once again descend upon Las Vegas for a three-day furniture and bedding products convention.
The expo will showcase the latest exhibits and deals in furniture and bedding, will feature guest lecturers and activities. Several contests and drawings will feature prizes including a Polaris Razor off-road vehicle and a trip to a South Pacific island.
This year’s convention is two-fold in its approach in that it emphasizes mattress and bedding on the opening day while moving on to furniture the next day. On day one, members can attend a series of seminars such as “How to Run a High Impact Promotion” by Phil Gutsell, owner of the consulting firm Gutsell & Associates; the “Best of the Best” practice luncheon by BrandSource consultant Ray Allegrezza; and “Executive In-Sight Panel” by Bill West, Seta’s chief sales officer, and Steve Rusing, senior VP of national accounts at Sealy.
After the lectures conclude, attendees will have an opportunity to take advantage of limited-time deals on mattresses and bedding at “The Stampede.” Members will also be able to test out Sealy’s new private label line of mattresses.
On day two, the convention switches gears and offers educational seminars pertaining to furniture. Mike Allen, executive VP of Home Furnishings, will speak. On the last day, members will participate in a furniture treasure hunt, where they can search for more limited-time deals.
