AVAD Gave Deals, Awards At Nashville Event

Los Angeles – AVAD hosted an open house at its new Nashville branch on May 7 to highlight a larger showroom and more streamlined ordering process as well as offer one-day promotions from a dozen major brands and other exclusive benefits for area integrators.

The festivities included an award ceremony for three top area dealers “in recognition of exemplary sales and integration,” the distributor said.

Additions to AVAD Nashville at the new location include new product displays featuring the latest solutions from dealer-preferred brands and a new conference room that offers a private entrance for high profile customer meetings and additional office space for dealers to use.

Jon Zabel, North American sales director for AVAD, attended the event to present three awards to top area dealers acknowledging their achievements for the year.

Jacob Abbott of Visual Concepts received the Phoenix Award for most improved sales. Hailey Williamson and Brad Moss of Williamson Moss Design received the Top Gun Award for highest sales in 2013, and Philip Brown of Crosswaves Systems Integration won the Firestarter Award, which recognizes the top new dealer for 2014.

“AVAD Nashville has always been a solutions center for Tennessee dealers, and by listening to their needs for more convenient product access we’ve been able to grow in a way that best serves them,” said Lei Lei Trock, senior marketing manager for AVAD. “Having 23 North American locations is a huge differentiator, and by constantly improving we hope to continue showing our customers that training, promotions and support are just the tip of the iceberg of our distribution model.”

The renovations make AVAD Nashville the latest branch to remodel following the grand reopening of AVAD Seattle in April. New benefits include drive-up doors on the back of the warehouse to help dealers get in and out quicker as well as a corner lot which provides easier access to the back of the building.

The branch now features a newly designed theater room, remodeled training facility for AVAD University courses, new will call area and updated dealer-friendly loading dock for improved convenience, the distributor said.

Key AVAD manufacturers attended the open house including Samsung, RTI, URC, Lutron, Core Brands products, Current Audio, Peerless, Gefen, Martin Logan, Tivo and more.

AVAD Nashville is located at 725 Airpark Center Drive in Nashville, Tenn. For more information or to contact the branch, send an email to [email protected] or call (888) 845-9550.
