Extended warranty provider Assurant Solutions is projecting accelerated growth thanks to a new retail program, positive results from the holiday selling season and the current state of the industry.
“We have been able to significantly grow our partners’ revenue by implementing our Total Program Management program,” said VP Jeff Unterreiner. “Through this program, we target our support efforts on point-of-sale execution and sales growth rather than simply training associates. Retailers who have implemented this program report consistent year-over-year incremental growth.”
Unterreiner is also encouraged by this year’s new technology launches. “As with any new product introduction, such as those containing Blu-ray technology, Media Center PCs and HD disc players, there is a need for the consumer to protect this new, unproven technology,” he said. “As a leader in the service contract industry, we are focused on staying ahead of the technology curve and preparing to support new technologies through our ISO certified, state-of-the-art call centers, technology support help desks and enhanced repair centers. Our willingness to remain ahead of the technology curve allows us to further enhance the end-users’ customer experience and, in turn, provide repeat customers for our partners.”
