Amazon has thrown its hat into the Super Bowl TV commercial competition with it’s first-ever ad for the Big Game.
The No. 1 e-tailer has enlisted actor Alec Baldwin and former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino for the occasion, but the real star of the 30-second spot is Echo, Amazon’s pint-sized personal assistant and wireless speaker.
The plot revolves around the duo’s dubious Super Bowl party planning, with an assist from Alexa, the device’s cloud-based voice service.
You can have a pre-game gander below, and Amazon promises “more to come” on Super Bowl Sunday, including social via #baldwinbowl.
