International CE and appliance distributor Almo has developed a private-label collection of premium outdoor cooking products dubbed Heat.
The new program, developed by the company’s Almo Premium Appliances division, promises “high performance and long-lasting durability at fantastic value.”
Heat includes commercial-grade grills, grill carts, a Kamado grill, outdoor vent hoods and patio heaters, to provide specialty dealers with a complete and exclusive line of outdoor living appliances from a single source.
“We are focused on bringing our dealers additional opportunities in this fast-growing segment,” said Steve Terry, VPP/COO, Almo Premium Appliances. “Heat has raised the bar on quality, premium features while keeping the products at a reasonable price point.”
Dealers are getting their first taste of Heat this season, as the collection tours the country with such brands as Alfresco Open Air Culinary Systems, Artisan Grills, Blaze Grills, Hanover Outdoor Furniture, Liebherr and U-Line as part of an Almo Premium Kitchen Expedition.
The Heat assortment includes:
Gas grills and outdoor kitchen accessories: Heat gas grills are available in two sizes, a 32-inch unit with four burners or a 40-inch unit with five burners. The grill heads are manufactured with a unique diamond V-shaped cooking grid to produce high, caramelizing temperatures across all burners while reducing flare-ups. Other features include a reliable “push-and-turn” flame-thrower ignition and professional-grade grills and accessories built from 304 stainless steel for maximum heat retention and durability.
The Kamado ceramic grill: Addressing demand for premium charcoal cooking, the Heat Kamado grill boasts a multi-position 19-inch main cooking rack, lower rack and additional half rack to provide the most cooking space in its class. Exterior detail includes a smooth double-glazed finish available in four colors and a with a stainless steel chimney. The grill can be built-in or ordered with a cart and two oak side shelves.
Outdoor Versa hood: Manufactured with heavy gauge, 304 stainless steel with brushed finish and T-chimney styling that can be used as a custom insert, the Heat Versa hood is available in 36-, 42- or 48-inch widths and a 32-inch depth with large, commercial-style baffle filters and three-speed internal blowers delivering up to 1250 CFM, representing the largest capture area in the industry to date, Almo said.
