Philadelphia — Almo Professional A/V has added two business development managers and a southeast sales pro, appointed to support to its expanding customer base.

“Our partners are relying more on the role of our business development managers due to their combination of product, sales and technical expertise, especially for some of our most prominent product lines,” explained Sam Taylor, executive VP and COO for Almo Professional A/V. “We’re also experiencing rapid business growth across the country so we must have the sales coverage in place to ensure our customers are able to transact business seamlessly no matter where they are located.” 

Darren Altman is the Sharp business development manager. In this position, he works closely with the sales team and their customers to provide sales and technical support on the Sharp display line while helping them grow their business through the use of Sharp products. Prior, he held sales positions at Almo Pro A/V, Electrograph Systems and Flexible Business Systems.

Rob Ziv is a business development manager for Panasonic and several other product lines. He is responsible for coordinating Almo’s sales and marketing efforts with those of its vendor manufacturers by providing product expertise, managing the exchange of information and being a technical resource. He also focuses on developing and delivering technical training and informational resources for Almo partners. Ziv has nearly 25 years of experience in the sales/management and professional A/V and recording industries. He’s worked as an independent recording engineer and has held positions at Global Crossing Conferencing, Premier Technologies, Power Station Studios and ICB Audio & Video.

 Don Dekker is southeast territory account manager. Based out of Florida, Dekker is responsible for growing existing partner accounts and developing new business in the territory. He held sales positions with several A/V distributors, including Electrograph Systems.
