In a major staff expansion, national appliance and CE distributor Almo Corp. has added six new positions to its West Coast sales organization.
The move, said dealer channel senior sales VP Jack Halperin, is designed to further fuel the company’s double-digit growth in the Western U.S., where regional independents remain an “untapped opportunity.”
Under the plan, “While our existing Western field sales team will primarily focus on increasing share of business for our existing manufacturer partners within our existing dealer base, the new field representatives will focus on prospecting and adding new independent major appliance dealers to Almo’s bundle of brands offering,” he said.
New staffers will include a regional sales manager, and Almo will be hiring additional territory account manager positions in California, Washington and Oregon.
