Almo, the national majap and CE distributor, announced a return engagement of its popular “Small Business Saturday” dealer promotion.

Philadelphia — Almo, the national majap and CE distributor, announced a return engagement of its popular “Small Business Saturday” dealer promotion.

The effort, which ties into American Express’s eponymous four-year-old program, will allow Almo dealers to offer shoppers special discounts on the Saturday after Thanksgiving as a way of competing with national big-box promotions over Black Friday weekend.

To that end, the distributor has once again secured $100,000 in vendor funds from Frigidaire, Samsung, LG, Sharp and Bosch, which dealers can use to help offset delivery and installation expenses on qualifying purchases.

“We developed this promotion last year not only to show our commitment to supporting small businesses but also to show our dealers and partners that we have their best interests at heart and want to help them succeed,” said Jack Halperin, Almo’s dealer channel sales senior VP. “We hope this program continues to create excitement and buzz, and gives our dealers an opportunity to connect with new and existing customers alike. We want to create every possible opportunity for our dealers to grow and prosper.”
