Las Vegas — Wilson Electronics is showing its most powerful in-vehicle cell-signal booster at the CTIA Wireless show this week.
The MobileMaxx 3G is said to provide increased reception range, fewer dropped calls, faster data downloads on 3G and up to three hours of additional talk time for mobile devices.
It operates with the maximum output power allowed under current regulations, said Wilson, and can be used with all cellphone and on all cell networks in the U.S. and Canada.
Suggested retail is expected to be $379 when it becomes available in the fourth quarter.
