Developed by Northwestern professor Dr. John Rogers in partnership with Gatorade, this flexible patch is designed to let athletes knows when their electrolytes are running low. The quarter-sized silicone device is also being used in various medical settings, including testing for cystic fibrosis and treating stroke patients.
