Basking Ridge, N.J. — Verizon Wireless is joining the price wars by tossing extra data into several More Everything shared-data plans and adding additional data-plan options.
Starting Feb. 5, Verizon’s More Everything shared-data allowances of 1GB to 3GB, costing $40 to $60 per month per phone, get an additional 1GB of data at the same price. The prices exclude a $40 monthly access fee per phone providing unlimited talk and text.
The carrier also launched a new $70 plan with 6GB of shared data, up from 4GB, and it added three new plans: $110 for 12GB, $120 for 14GB, and $130 for 16GB.
In other changes, the company’s 8GB plan goes to $85 from $90, and a $150 20GB plan goes to $140.
