TWICE Picks Award Winner: Audio-Technica U.S. ATH-DSR7BT

The ATH-DSR7BT wireless headphones feature Audio-Technica’s all-new Pure Digital Drive system, said to keep the audio signal completely in the digital domain from the source direct to the headphone drivers. The ATH-DSR7BT utilizes the Dnote chipset, which receives binary digital audio signals direct from the headphone’s wireless receiver, and processes and transfers them to the voice coil’s driver without the need for the D/A conversion stages that typically degrade sound quality. The smartphone-compatible headphones support aptX HD, aptX and AAC codecs (as well as the SBC format) at up to 24-bit/96kHz and up to 24-bit/48kHz signals in Bluetooth mode. The ATH-DSR7BT is also able to deliver Hi-Res Audio compliant playback from audio sources when connected via the included USB cable.
