LAS VEGAS —

Teac America shipped the first two iPod/iPhone-docking audio systems in its Designer series and is coming to International CES with its first iPaddocking speaker systems.

The iPod/iPhone systems are the $199 SR-80i and $299 SR-100i, both positioned as “high-fidelity systems with superior design aesthetics at an affordable price.”

Both feature radio, and the top model adds slot-in CD player. Both will be displayed at CES. It’s equipped with fullrange speakers, bass-reflex port and DSPenhanced bass response.

The SR-100i features PLL FM tuner, 2x50-watt amplification, two-way speaker system with 3.5-inch midwoofers, bass-reflex ports, slot-in CD player, and retractable dock. The CD player supports CD-R/RW, MP3 and WMA discs. A USB port plays MP3 files on a USB stick. An aux-in is included.

Details of the iPad-docking speaker systems weren’t available but will be displayed at the Las Vegas Hilton, suite 573.
