T-Mobile said it has its sights set on a rollout of 5G network technology in the U.S. by 2019, with nationwide coverage by 2020.
The No. 3 U.S. wireless carrier said the 5G network will deliver data speeds between 10 and 100 times that of current 4G networks with a capacity to serve 100 billion devices.

Rival AT&T started beta testing 5G in December, and Verizon will begin a gradual rollout of 5G to consumers in 11 cities by this summer.
