Santa Fe Springs, Calif. – Swann will introduce this afternoon the Xtreem Mini Stealth RC Drone, a 6-inch remote-controlled quadricopter that weighs less than an ounce.
Employing Swann’s Xtreem Easy-Fly Gyro technology, the helicopter features 3-inch dual-blade rotors that enhance stability and control for first-time pilots.
It operates via a 2.4GHz RF signal, for a piloting range of 330 feet, Swann said. The yoke-style remote control offers six-way multi-dimensional control for up, down, forward, backward, left and right, plus trim control.
The rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides up to seven minutes of continuous flight time, and the remote control is powered by six AA batteries (not included). The drone can be recharged via the remote control or by plugging it into any USB device.
The Xtreem Mini Stealth Drone will be available exclusively at Fry’s upon release for $49.99.
