Overland Park, Kan. – Oklahoma City Thunder guard Kevin Durant will enter his fourth consecutive year as a Sprint spokesperson in national advertising when he appears Sunday in a Sprint TV ad as a defense attorney guarding against high wireless prices.
Moving from the basketball court to a courtroom, Durant will appear in a 60-second spot debuting Sunday night during the NBA All-Star game’s Sprint Halftime Reporton TNT.
Sprint will air 30- and 60-second versions of the ad during the coming weeks, complemented by digital and social media extensions.
The ad is the latest Sprint TV ad in the carrier’s Cut Your Bill in Half Event promotion, which targets Verizon and AT&T customers. Under the promotion, Sprint promises unlimited talk and text to anywhere in the U.S. to new subscribers on the Sprint network and cuts the customer’s current rate plan in half.
