San Francisco — SOL Republic expanded its Bluetooth speaker offering this week with a scaled-down model known as the Punk.
Carrying a $69.99 suggested retail, the water-, shock- and dust-resistant Punk can be attached to a bike or camera mount. It also has line-in and line-out ports that allow it serve as a Bluetooth hub.
Unlike the Deck, it does not have Heist mode, which allows users to simultaneously battle for control of the speaker using their smartphones.
The Punk, which has an eight-hour battery life and a 60-foot wireless range, comes in seven colors.
