SiriusXM Launches Car Tuner Promotion

New York – A first-of-its-kind promotion launched by SiriusXM through the end of the year gives consumers three free months of All Access service when they purchase the $69-suggested SVX200 Connect Vehicle Tuner.

The compact, hideaway tuner can be controlled from aftermarket car and marine head units offered by Advent, Alpine, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony. The tuner mounts behind the dash and connects directly to the head units without special adapters or the need to run a separate power wire.

All Access service, which costs $18.99/month, bundles access to all satellite-radio channel with access to SiriusXM Internet Radio on PCs, smartphones and other connected devices. To be eligible for the promotion, consumers must purchase a minimum six-month subscription, three months of which will be free.  Savings comes to more than $70, including the waiver of a $14.99 activation fee, the company said.

Participating dealers include Best Buy, Car Toys, Crutchfield, Custom Sounds, Frys, and P.C. Richards.

SiriusXM Internet Radio includes MySXM, a feature that lets users personalize many SiriusXM commercial-free music channels and some comedy channels.
