Munich, Germany — Sennheiser’s newest headphones boast a rotary dial that lets users customize the amount of bass they want.
The HD 630VB — which launched here last week at the High End Show — is billed as the company’s first closed audiophile headphone. Beyond that innovative rotary dial, features include aluminum ear cups with on-ear controls and removable ear pads; foldable construction; an in-line omnidirectional mic; and a $549 retail price tag.
Frequency response is listed at 10Hz to 42,000Hz, while the bass boost is +/- 5dB at 50Hz.
