Sanduski Promoted To Sharp President

Long-time industry exec to guide next steps for big-screen TV resource

Mahwah, N.J. – Jim Sanduski advances to president of Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA), after serving in an interim capacity for the past several weeks upon the departure of John Herrington.

Sanduski is a long-time industry veteran, who has been with Sharp for the past three years, serving as strategic product marketing senior VP. Prior to joining Sharp, he held leadership positions with Panasonic, Hewlett-Packard and Samsung.

“We are excited to have Jim lead our Consumer Electronics business as we continue to expand our business in new areas,” stated Toshi Osawa President of Sharp Electronics Corporation.  “Jim has done an exceptional job as our Interim President and we are confident in his ability to drive our growth in the coming years.”

In this new position, Sanduski will be responsible for all aspects of Sharp’s Consumer Electronics and Health & Environment Businesses including Product & Brand Management, Sales, Operations, Finance and Administration.
