Hornady Security has launched its latest home security product, the Hornady RAPiD Safe Night Guard. The Night Guard safeguards firearms and valuables using RFID, allowing for fast, reliable entry for authorized users. Designed as a bedside, end table, or kitchen counter storage device, the Night Guard features a discreet design that fits most full-sized handguns. Authorized users can access the Night Guard with a wristband, key fob, or decal, for quick and dependable entry.
A tempered glass front panel contains the RFID reader, clock display, and access code keypad. When activated, the spring-assist drawer quietly slides open to reveal a padded interior, protecting firearms or valuables. Two integrated USB-A charging ports allow the unit to also function as a charging station.
The Night Guard offers three secure entry methods: an RFID reader, a user-programmed access code, and a mechanical key. These methods provide a variety of ways to unlock the RAPiD Night Guard and provide a contingency for access when it is most critical. For added theft protection, it includes a 1,500-pound-rated security cable and pre-drilled mounting holes for permanent installation.
