Crestron Returns To CEDIA Expo

Last time the company exhibited at the tradeshow was 2015

Crestron has announced that the company will exhibit at this year’s CEDIA Expo, taking place in Denver, CO from September 8–12. Crestron had a presence at the show until 2015; from 2016–2019 they chose not to exhibit.

“Crestron’s residential solutions and CEDIA Expo have both evolved,” explains John Clancy, VP of residential for Crestron. “Crestron has closely monitored the maturity of this industry. There is a massive gap in the premium smart home space, and when that is coupled with the growth and demand for professionally installed systems, Crestron Home and Crestron Home dealers can uniquely fill and support those customers. CEDIA Expo is a great venue to showcase that.”

According to the letter sent out to Crestron dealers this morning, which is re-published below, the accessibility for dealers to setup and deploy Crestron Home systems was a key factor in their return to CEDIA Expo, as was the number of requests from their dealers and partners to have them exhibit.

“Our dealers, as well as other integrators in the channel who are interested in Crestron, have been asking for us to come to the show,” says Clancy. “And a lot of the companies we develop technology alongside are also at the show. There are a lot of ways to look at our presence at CEDIA Expo between training and reaching a new audience that wants to see Crestron solutions, as well as being able to do more work with our partners.”

With many 2020 events postponed or cancelled, including the annual Crestron Masters, CEDIA Expo looks to be one of the few places left to get in front of dealers and show off products first-hand. “The planning for CEDIA Expo has been in the works internally for months,” says Clancy. “Our focus for the show is entirely around Crestron Home and telling that story. And we will be introducing an array of new products in multiple categories that all tie into the Crestron Home experience.”

Crestron’s note to their dealers is printed below:
