Ideal Living has introduced a second-generation version of its AquaTru Under Sink reverse osmosis water purification system, adding smart monitoring features, installation improvements, and an updated design.
The new model retains the company’s four-stage Ultra Reverse Osmosis purification process and is NSF-certified to remove 84 contaminants from tap water, including PFAS and PFOA compounds, microplastics, lead, fluoride, chlorine, chloramine, chromium-6, arsenic, and nitrates.

Among the updates is a built-in leak detection system that monitors for water leaks both inside and outside the filter manifold. The purifier also adds visual and audible filter replacement alerts, along with a one-touch reset button for restarting the filter life indicator after new filters are installed.
Installation has also been revised with a four-point connection system that uses color-coded tubing to simplify setup and reduce connection points. The unit features a more compact enclosure with concealed tubing for a cleaner appearance.
The purifier can operate using either batteries or USB-C power, giving homeowners additional flexibility when installing the system.
Like its predecessor, the AquaTru Under Sink dispenses purified water through a dedicated faucet while keeping countertops clear. The system includes a 1.7-gallon purified water storage tank and remains compatible with existing AquaTru Under Sink replacement filters.
The faucet hardware is available in polished chrome, stainless steel, and matte black finishes.
The AquaTru Under Sink is available now with a suggested retail price of $395. A version that includes an alkaline upgrade is priced at $420.
