Olympus Adds Stylus XZ-10 Point And Shoot Camera

Center Valley, Pa. — Olympus introduced Tuesday the compact Stylus XZ-10 as the latest high-end addition to its X-series point-and-shoot camera line.

The camera, which ships in March at a $400 suggested retail, features many of the features in the flagship Stylus XZ-2 but in a more compact body configuration.

The pocket-sized camera has a bright 5x (26-130mm) F1.8 to 2.7 zoom lens, pro-style manual settings, ISO sensitivity to 6,400, a 1/2.3-inch 12-megapixel backlit CMOS sensor and TruePic VI image processing.

Other features include a 3-inch high-resolution touchscreen LCD, a customizable control ring around the lens for quick setting adjustments, and a programmable Fn button on the back.

The XZ-10 captures up to FullHD 1080p video and shoots in RAW, JPEG, and RAW plus JPEG formats.
