Hisense returns tomorrow as title sponsor of the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series Hisense 4K TV 300 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, where driver Denny Hamlin will be behind the wheel of the No. 18 Hisense Toyota Camry.
For the 200-lap race, Hisense selected five kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County, N.C., as grand marshals to give the race’s starting command: “Gentlemen, start your engines!” The kids were chosen based on school grades and behavior.
This year, Hisense also returned as primary sponsor of the Joe Gibbs Racing team’s Toyota Camry in select races. Hisense is the car’s primary sponsor in six races, up from last year’s two. The car wears the Hisense colors and logos, and the car’s race team wears jumpsuits in Hisense colors and logos.
Hisense is giving away three TVs throughout each race and, on the Monday following a race, a 60- to 70-inch TV as a grand prize.
For the rest of the year, the Hisense Camry will race in the July 23 Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Sept. 17 NASCAR Xfinity Chicagoland Race at Chicagoland Speedway, and the Nov. 12 NASCAR Xfinity Series Phoenix Race at Phoenix International Raceway.
